we did a lot of press down there, jackass 3D is coming out soon - we gave a song for the ending credits. i think its us and weezer at the end. it was really fun (although stressful at times) having bam go on tour with us. i had a real good time. it sucked in new zealand when some twiggy ramirez looking goth bitch roofied him, but other than that it was a blast. the new jackass movie is fucking awesome, its almost like 3D technology was invented for it. fuck avatar!

they will get done before we leave for tour next. again, i have to apologize for that. originally i was going to have the 2005 mix simply mastered for vinyl but i think having new mixes of it will be worth the wait. i hate pulling that chinese democracy shit, it sucks. and usually i am pretty good about having things get released when i say they will, anybody that knows me will tell you that i really can't stand it when a project gets delayed. but honestly, in this case the hold up will be a worthwhile one.

Hey Jess, just wondering if you or the band approach shows differently depending on how often you play in that area. For example, if you had a show in Philly would the band be more likely to try out a new song live, or try something much more different to normal because you play in that area more often? As opposed to playing in Australia where you would just stick to what you know the band knows best in order to create the best sounding live show possible?

i think the philadelphia area is the only place where something off carver city has a chance of being applauded as much as say "attached at the hip" everywhere else whenever we play carver stuff we just get stared at with the "what the hell was that" look. but it was like that with answer can be found stuff too, it took 3 years for people to learn dressed in decay or tripled manic state. people are just slow with learning new songs i guess. no big deal. plus for us as a band, its weird playing aacbf and CC stuff sometimes because vol.1 and IDR songs were demo'ed over and over, tested live before the studio sessions, etc. where as the aacbf and CC songs were basically built from nothing in the studio. none of the kinks were ironed out live first.
